New details are emerging following #HiddleswiftGate after Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have both officially rid all traces of each other from social media, so what REALLY went wrong?
What we all thought was the most mature celebrity breakup of the century, has turned into quite the dramatic showdown, because by the looks of it, Tay’s newest stunt is much better than revenge.
After the worldwide panic attack when photos emerged via The Sun Magazine yesterday of Taylor Swift playing a very friendly game of tonsil hockey with Tom Hiddleston, one unanimous question rang through the minds of many: “WHAT DOES CALVIN THINK ABOUT THIS?” Although many sources have confirmed that Taylor is hanging out with Tom, but nothing serious is going on, they also revealed that Calvin just wants her to be happy.
However, yesterday’s timing was too much of a coincidence seeing that both Taylor and Calvin deleted any last trace of each other via their social media accounts and that Calvin even unfollowed Taylor and her brother Austin. Calvin’s tweet speaking out about their relationship coming to an end, in which Taylor retweeted has also been deleted by the DJ.
New reports are also revealing that weeks before their breakup, in early May, Calvin suspected something was up with Taylor, and that his suspicions were confirmed yesterday when the photos arose. Sources say that QUOTE, “He’s pissed and he feels betrayed by her.”
Meanwhile, as surprising as #HiddleswiftGate was to the world, the hints all seemed to appear right at our fingertips come early May as Taylor and Tom were casually partaking in their own dance party during the Met Gala. Following the Met Gala, as Tom was promoting his new film I Saw The Light, he gushed about hanging out with Taylor, saying QUOTE, “I sat next to her at dinner that night and she was very charming. She is amazing — I've seen a couple of her videos.”
He talked more about hanging out with her that night saying that he was dancing to The Weeknd’s music with her but that he “didn’t know it was going to ping round the world, but it’s all good.” And we’re sure it definitely IS all good now that he’s got the girl.
Many Tumblr users shockingly enough even predicted The T-Squared romance years ago as a screengrab of a fan fiction of Tom and Taylor meeting up at The Met Gala in 2015, even shipping them as Hiddleswift… Ok so they were off by a year, but it’s still pretty impressive…
But despite all the rebound rumors, maybe the heart really does want what it wants. Eyewitnesses told The Sun that Taylor and Tom were QUOTE, “All over each other — hugging and kissing — even though there were 20 people coming and going on the beach. They looked like any young couple madly in love without a care in the world.”
