Former Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan today expressed his disappointment at those who say that Malaysia has political detainees.
He says that all detainees in Malaysia will be given a trial adding that even those who were detained under the now repealed Internal Security Act (ISA) are allowed to challenge their detention in court.
Musa explains that political detention would result in being barred from voting and running for public office, adding that some ministers and politicians have been arrested under ISA before.
