Students who were expelled from school due to disciplinary problems such as playing truant from class still have a chance to continue their education should they file an appeal with the Education Ministry.
Deputy Education Minister Chong Sin Woon noted the concerns about how some students who have been expelled were not allowed to continue their education and were thus left out of the education system.
