Over the weekend, while most people were relaxing at home and spending time with their family, something very different was happening between Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan. In case you weren’t on social media the past few days, let me catch you up to speed.
Things all started when the rapper posted on his Instagram story QUOTE “I feel like I’m probably being cheated on.”
Noah then posted an Instagram story of her own that showed a text conversation between her and the rapper. She sent him a meme of Charlie Puth photoshopped onto someone’s naked body, which is what she thought Lil Xan was upset about. She wrote QUOTE “I’m heartbroken and confused.This is the meme I sent Diego that made him think I’m cheating on him.”
I wish I could make this stuff up. But Lil Xan claimed that a picture Noah posted of herself and another guy on her Instagram was really what angered him. The two went back and forth on their Insta stories, and Noah even accused Xan of cheating on her, not the other way around, but now it seems they’re officially over.
It’s possibly the most dramatic and public breakup of the year, so the Internet was kind of living for it, especially over on Twitter.

Honestly at this point, I think Elon Musk was right. We ARE living in simulation because this drama is just too weird.

She’s right. I really want to know what Charlie Puth thinks about all this, but so far he hasn’t said a word. Honestly, if a photoshopped picture of me was the cause of some strangers’ breakup, I wouldn’t really know what to say either.
