The Freedom Film Network (FFN) has railed against the criminal charges filed against the director and producer of “Mentega Terbang”, calling it excessive, disproportionate, and archaic.

The group said that there was no evidence of a continued public outcry and it called on the government to immediately and unconditionally drop the charges against director Mohd Khairianwar Jailani and producer Tan Meng Kheng.
