The MTV VMAs are upon us & when it comes to the acts nominated for 'Artist To Watch' - the competition is tough. X SO between 5th harmony, 5SOS, Charli XCX, Sam Smith and Schoolboy Q - who do you think deserves to take home the coveted moon man?

First up, Fifth Harmony and 5SOS - okay I mean obviously we've had our eye on them for longer than most people - #sinceday1 -- But it's finally good to see them get the recognition they deserve. 5SOS's album was top notch & 5H's new single Bo$$ has been the soundtrack of our summer.

Okay next up let's talk Sam Smith and CharliXCX – I've loved me some CharliXCX ever since I interviewed her at SXSW and her newest single Boom Clap that was in the movie Fault in Our Stars and currently all over the radio… this gal is a real gem of a musician. And Sam Smith…. the voice of an angel… seriously. He's like the boy adele & his SNL performance gives me goose bumps.

And finally, if you’re more of a hip-hop fan.Let's talk Schoolboy Q! He's got the heavy beats and knows what he’s doing in his song “Man Of The Year” – um, to be honest, we can’t REEAAALLY show you that much of his video, cause it’s a little risqué but you get the point.
