First Look at Maddie Ziegler in New 'The Book of Henry' Trailer

Maddie Ziegler makes her acting debut in The Book of Henry and her role is much darker than you’d expect it to be.
Maddie Ziegler is in trouble and there’s only one person who can help her – actually, make that two people.
The first trailer for ‘The Book of Henry’ is finally here and while we’re all so excited to see some of our faves like Maddie, Jacob Tremblay, Jaeden Lieberher, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Silverman, everything is not as quirky and cute as it seems. The film follows an extraordinarily smart kid 11-year-old by the name of Henry, who is basically the head of his small, but adorable household.
Although it may seem as if the movie would be about a coming of age story of a young and unique boy, everything changes when Henry realizes there’s something really wrong with his sweet classmate Christina.
And that’s when Henry – along with his mom, Susan, take on the task of saving Christina. Dun dun dun. Sounds pretty intriguing, right?
This role is Maddie’s first in a feature film and she’s lucky enough to star alongside the likes of Naomi, Sarah, Jacob, and Jaeden. Although from the trailer, it looks like a good majority of her role is strictly acting, Maddie was still be able to slip in some of her incredible dance moves in the film.**
