The cast of Pretty Little Liars just dropped some major details about the highly anticipated final season
Get your pens and paper ready, PLL fans. You’re gonna want to take some notes.
You know you’re a diehard Pretty Little Liars fan, when the words Paley Fest bring you an incredible amount of excitement. The cast got together for another panel at this year’s convention, and as usual, dropped some major details about the upcoming final season of the show.
For starters, we now know exactly how the season will star. The PLL Gods have gifted us the first minute of the season that was also showed at Paley Fest, and it looks like the action kicks off right away, picking up right where we left off. Spencer has just been shot and it’s really not looking so good.
The clip also shows the liars contemplating what it means now that Noel has said his final words, but they’re interrupted by a heartbreaking sight.
It’s safe to say that the very first episode of the final season will already have us reaching for the tissues.
The ending of the show also means that we’re really going to get a lot of time to focus on these relationships that we’ve come to hold so dear to our hearts. Our PLL Queen and the show’s executive producer, Marlene King, told the audience that when it comes EMISON, QUOTE “these remaining episodes are about Alison trying to figure out her sexuality- and Emily plays a big part of that.” And if that’s not enough to give you all the feels, this season also has a whole lot in store for Haleb. Tyler Blackburn told the audience QUOTE “I do feel like Haleb was meant to be. Spaleb was fun to dabble with; Haleb is where it’s at. And in regards to an upcoming very steamy Haleb scene, Ashley Benson revealed “It’s awkward to do a sex scene in front of a whole crew of people and have no clothes on. So we had a fan to keep us cool, and we just had our iphone playing, and we just sweat by the fire.”
Um…. YEAH. GONNA DVR THAT FOR SURE.
Now, for the first time in a long time, we know that we actually will get what we’ve been waiting for… Janel Parrish told the Entertainment Weekly QUOTE “Of the last 10, there is a really big reveal at the end of every episode… You’re going to find out who killed Jessica DiLaurentis, who A.D is – all of the answers.”
Well, yeah! It’s been 7 years. We have earned this!
But since it’s never going to be easy to say goodbye to our favorite Rosewood residents, we can find peace that a spin-off or reboot of the show will always be a possibility. Ian Harding told Entertainment Weekly that he has plans for the future of PLL, saying QUOTE “ the show movies to, like, Netflix, so we do it up: Suddenly, there’s like swearing, and full blown nudity…. I want there to be bloody murder all over the place. Like Pretty Little Liars meets Saw.”
Sign me up! But Marlene King gave us her own vision of the future that includes a PLL movie, and Shay Mitchell is totally down. She said QUOTE “ If A is chasing us around Europe, I’d be okay with that.
We’d be okay with that too. One Liar was noticeably missing from all the action, but our girl Lucy Hale took to Twitter to say hello & give a big thanks for another successful PaleyFest.

Lucy went on to thank the fans saying QUOTE “I cannot wait for all of you to see the 7th and final season of Pretty Little Liars… some of my favorite Aria moments. You guys are amazing. Thanks for the constant support.”
Lucy also thanked her PLL castmembers, who have all gotten to be more like family over the past 7 years, and just like a real fam, Marlene King gifted all her girls some Cartier bling as a final present when the show officially wrapped filming. At PaleyFest, Marlene told PEOPLE “It’s the nail ring. I feel like the journey they’ve been on was such a struggle, and they’re so, so stronger for it, but yet beautiful.”
Now, after every PaleyFest, we are even more excited for the PLL, but I gotta know what you all are most looking forward to on Pretty Little Liars when the final season premieres on April 18th. Leave your thoughts in the comments below and then you can click right here to check out a possible animated Kardashians TV show? And of course, don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. I’m your host Sinead de Vries, and I’ll see you guys next time!
