The Tanjong Karang parliamentary seat will witness a five-way battle between BN, PN, Muda, GTA and an independent candidate.

EC returning officer for P095 Tanjong Karang Mohd Raiz Radzuan said that the commission received five nomination forms and none was rejected.

The five candidates, Lando Zawawi for GTA, Zulkafperi Hanapi for PN, Siti Rahayu Baharin for Muda, BN's candidate Habibah Mohd Yusof and independent candidate Mohd Rosni Mastol.
