Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has called on people not to spread fake news on the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.
She said such actions could create uncertainty, leading to panic that would further worsen the situation.
Dr Wan Azizah made the plea in her address at Insaf Malaysia Technical Relief Organisation’s dinner in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Feb 2).
