Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria has confirmed that national men's singles ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei will not be making his comeback at the Celcom Axiata Malaysian Open next month per doctor’s advice.
At a press conference on Friday, Norza also urged everyone to give Chong Wei the space and time required for his recovery, when elaborated on whether Chong Wei will be fielded in the upcoming Sudirman Cup.
