The head of Bersih's People's Tribunal, Yash Gai, says the panel would've been more comfortable coming up with recommendations for Malaysia's electoral system had the Election Comission or the government engaged with them. But the EC has dismissed the tribunal as lacking legitimacy and the whole process as an attack against the government.
