A father has disowned his son after he became a gambler and borrowed money from loan sharks.
The family came forward to the MCA Public Services and Complaints Department on Thursday to appeal for the loan sharks to stop harassing them.
MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong appealed to the loan sharks not to disturb innocent parties, especially family members, adding that they should only target those who borrowed money from them.
