A 63 year-old heart-broken mother wishes to disown her son when she and her family could no longer help him to pay his debts from the loan sharks. Yap Yok Yen held a press conference on Friday, accompanied by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong. Chong said he hoped that the government would consider taking action against borrowers who take loans from illegal loan sharks, so that borrowers would also have to be responsible for their debts.
