Fyre Fest "Luxury" Music Festival CALLED OFF After Mass Chaos Ensues

The inaugural Fyre Festival in the Bahamas has been canceled after a disastrous start to what was supposed to be two luxurious weekends of music, food, and fun.

This would have marked the Fyre Festival’s first year as a glamorous music festival that promised participants luxury accommodations, gourmet food, and a fantastic lineup featuring the likes of Blink 182, Daya, and more, but the festival was over before it even began, and thanks to attendees posting pics on social media, we can totally understand why.
Tickets for the fest, which was co-organized by Ja Rule, cost up to a whopping $12,000. The festival was promoted in glamorous ads featuring Victoria’s Secret models such as Bella Hadid riding jet skis and drinking tropical cocktails, but the moment guests arrived they realized they had been duped by some major false advertising.
One attendee shared pics of the so-called luxury accommodations, which actually turned out to be crowded rows of disaster-relief tents. Meanwhile a luxury food court was shown as nothing more than some folding chairs next to a school bus.
Attendees also complained of the conditions of the location the festival was to take place at, saying the ground was covered in rat droppings, piles of trash, and half-built tents. And as for that gourmet food--one festival goer shared a picture of a plain cheese sandwich served in a styrofoam box that basically shows just how truly terribly planned the event was.

After the hundreds of complaints from angry consumers, and Blink 182 backing out of the fest, Fyre Festival was forced to cancel both weekends. Organizers shared a statement on Twitter that read QUOTE, "Due to unforeseen and extenuating circumstances, Fyre Festival has been fully postponed. After assessing the situation this morning and looking at best options for our guests, we cannot move forward as we hoped we could. At this time, we are working tirelessly to get flights scheduled and get all travelers home safely."
I think I’ll just stick with Coachella.
