One of the most tempting tries when one is in George Town, Penang is what the locals call Hokkien noodles, which in other states it is laksa mee. This video highlights one of the most famous Hokkien mee in town, located at One Corner Cafe, Jalan Bawasah with the distinctive name of Super Hokkien Mee. Check out the video. You will see that the stall is a busy spot with the stall operators all hands-on taking orders for take-aways and eat-ins. They were so busy that they had no time to chit chat with manaweblife !  Don't be surprised that you may have to wait around half an hour for your bowl of Hokkien mee ! In fact, you will notice that the stall is managed and operated not by foreigners, which is a requirement in the state of Penang.
