Gigi Hadid just managed to blow our minds with a secret past singing career just in time for the holidays, and FYI, her voice is music to our ears.
So it may be way too early to dust off those classic Christmas jams, but it’s never too early to take a listen to Gigi featured on said Christmas jams…
She’s a model, she’s an equestrian, and up until recently, little did we know, Gigi Hadid is apparently a secret singer. The supermodel was featured on Josh Groban’s 2007 Christmas album Noel in not one, but two classic hits, one being “Little Drummer Boy”, and if you listen really closely, you may be able to hear the infamous “Rum Pum Pum Pum” background vocals, all thanks to Gigi…
She also lent her voice to Josh’s more emotional version of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”, making an appearance to deliver a sweet holiday message to the military families serving overseas.
Although she did prove yet another talent we clearly weren’t aware, Gigi likely got the gig at just 12 years old all thanks to her mother Yolanda Foster, who was dating the album’s producer David Foster at the time before they married 4 years later.
News of Gigi’s musical appearance may be hitting headlines this year, however not many seemed to catch both Gigi and Josh joking about the collab two years back on Twitter when Gigi tweeted QUOTE, “tbt little drummer boy lol @joshgroban” when he replied, “@GiGiHadid yessssssss.” Sooo just one question… does this mean we can cross our fingers for a Zayn and Gigi duet in the near future?
Ok, so we won’t get our hopes up THAT high, but I’m curious to know what you guys thought about Gigi’s secret singing gig and if you think she’ll ever reprise her voice back into the music world, so get to talking right down here in the comments, and after that, you can click right over here to check out a few of those divas you used to love (and quite possibly still do) on Throwback. Thanks for hanging out with me here on Clevver News, I’m your host Paulina Cerrilla and I’ll see you next time!
