Two lawmakers were ordered to leave the august house today after they engaged in a war of words.
Dewan Rakyat speaker Johari Abdul told Mohd Misbahul Munir Masduki (PN-Parit Buntar) and Sany Hamzan (Harapan-Hulu Langat) to “get out, go drink some coffee”.
During his debate on the Supply Bill at the committee stage, Misbahul had questioned why schools were not allowed to “takbir” or perform the Qunut Nazilah during Palestine Week.
Several government MPs, including Sany and Taufiq Johari (Harapan-Sungai Petani), then accused Misbahul of misleading the house.
