Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo said Malaysia is looking to update its data protection laws to prevent data breaches.
At a forum titled The Future of Digital Advertising In A Privacy-First World on Thursday, Gobind said a system should be put in place to prevent data breaches from happening and to stop a breach immediately before it gets out of hand.
