The government will not consider the proposal by Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin to follow the Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte's hardline stance on drug traffickers that call for them to be shot without trial.
Deputy Home Minister Nur Jazlan Mohamed said that these actions go against international standards and norms and highlighted that even Duterte has transferred all drug-related operations from the police to a national antinarcotics agency.
