Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on Wednesday urged the government to study the root cause of drug-related crimes before it decides to abolish the death penalty in relation to the death of 11-month-old Nur Muazara Ulfa Mohammad Zainal who had been physically and sexually abused by her babysitter’s drug-addicted husband.
