Despite Pakatan Harapan's election promise to abolish the the National Security Council (NSC) Act 2016 , Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu told reporters on Thursday that the government will first review the controversial law. Before GE14, Pakatan had pledged to abolish several restrictive laws including the NSC Act if it wins the general election.
