Malaysian Electoral Roll Analysis Project (Merap) have accused the Election Commission (EC) of gerrymandering over the redelineation exercise in Sarawak.
The accusation was made after comparing the total votes which can be collected at the polling districts in the 11 new state seats.
According to Merap researcher Lee Wee Tak, nine seats are located at the rural areas, while the heavily populated areas are not given more seats.
