Klang MP Charles Santiago said that the Election Commission's redelineation report has to be withdrawn until all notices of objection and legal challenges against the redelineation exercise are decided by the courts.
In a press conference in Parliament today he said Dewan Rakyat Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia should not allow for it to be debated as it would be violating the rule of law and goes against the Federal Constitution.
He said that the EC had yet to investigate the 107 notices of objections filed by Selangor voters against the second proposal by the commission and this means that the requirements of the constitution are not being fulfilled.
