DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said that the party's position over the national language has never changed.
He said they upheld the National Language Act and it clearly states that Bahasa Malaysia is the national language.
He said this in response to a question on Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa who had asked for DAP to come out with a statement of the party's position on the use of Bahasa Malaysia as the official language.
