Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said that while he agrees with economist Prof Dr Jomo Kwame Sundaram on his suggestions to cancel the East Coast Rail Link (ERCL) project, there are ‘national considerations’ that prevent the government from doing so.
Speaking to reporters after launching the Medical Travel Market Intelligence Conference 2019 on Tuesday, Lim said it would be good for Malaysia to maintain a good bilateral relationship with China.
