Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has urged Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to approve funds for flood mitigation projects in the state as well as send direct assistance for victims of the floods.
At a press conference in the State Legislative Assembly today, Lim said the premier has yet to make any announcement pertaining to his remarks on the fund allocation for flood mitigation projects, since his visit to the state on Nov 7 and they have not received any funds either for the state or for the victims.
