Home Minister Hamzah Zainuddin today admitted that the voice in a viral audio clip discussing the selection of a new police chief for the country was his.
The Larut MP told a press conference that he admitted that it was his voice because he had done nothing wrong.
He was speaking at a press conference in Putrajaya after handing the letter of appointment to Deputy Inspector-General Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, who will be replacing current IGP Abdul Hamid Bador whose contract ends on May 3.
Recently, an audio clip had gone viral on social media, showing a discussion believed to be between two persons on key appointments in the police force.
