The Sultan of Perak Sultan has offered Pakatan Harapan the first option to form the Perak state government - only if Harapan can prove it has 30 seats in the state assembly, before 2pm tomorrow.
Perak Harapan met with Sultan Nazrin Azlan Shah this afternoon to get the monarch’s consent to form the state government, despite BN announcing earlier that it had enough seats to do so.
Later, the spokesperson of Istana Kinta, Mohd Annuar Zaini, told the media that Pakatan must prove that it has more than half of the state assembly seats - or 30 seats - in order to form the state government.
He said the Sultan has offered Pakatan the first option, since it has got the bigger kerusi of 29 (29 seats).
