Harry Styles Producing TV Show Based On His Life Before 1D Fame

Harry Styles is apparently taking some time away from acting, singing, and being handsome to produce a brand new sitcom. The upcoming TV show is called ‘Happy Together’ and will premiere this fall on CBS. The new comedy will be starring Damon Wayans Jr. Amber Stevens West, and Felix Mallard.
Harry’s involvement with the show actually doesn’t end with producing, though. According to People, the plot of the comedy is actually based on Harry’s life. Or to be more specific, inspired by his life around the time One Direction really started to blow up.
“Happy Together” is about a pop star who movies into married couple’s home. Now, if you’re thinking “how the heck is this plot based on harry’s life?”
Apparently, when Harry first finished up with the X Factor, he crashed at his friend’s Ben Winston’s home, who is executive producer of The Late Late Show With James Corden along with his wife Meredith. Though he was only supposed to crash there for a couple weeks, Harry ended up staying there for 20 months. Ben actually opened up to Rolling Stone last year about the whole experience, saying QUOTE “Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world, that period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. No one ever found out, really. Even when we went out for a meal, it’s such a sweet family neighborhood, no one dreamed it was actually him. But he made our house a home. And when he moved out, we were gutted.”
Before we begin to over-anaylize every detail released about this show up until it airs to figure out as much as we can about Harry’s life, CBS did say QUOTE “Although the series is inspired by when Ben and Harry lived together, that’s where the reality ends. The show is not based on real life experiences and characters,” Dang IT!
