Can you even believe that it’s already been 5 years since Simon Cowell brought the boys of 1D together
Even though there have been many changes in recent months (you know with one member leaving the band and one member creating a new life form) the boys are focusing on how grateful they are for their fans.
Harry Styles took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the fans who made the #5YearsOfOneDirection happen tweeting: “We have been a band for five years. And it is impossible to thank anyone enough for all the support they have given us over this time…” “All the crew that we have been so lucky to work with, and everyone who is behind the scenes. We thank you for everything that you do. To you who support us, in any way, thank you. We wouldn't be here without you. You did this and we thank you for having us. All the love”
Louis Tomlinson, who we found out recently is going to be a dad, tweeted: “Every single day we are thankful for the platform that you incredible people gave us . What an amazing 5 years it’s been !! “Thank you, thank you, thank you…”
But with all of the changes that have happened recently with the boys, many people question whether or not the foursome will stay together or go their separate ways. Simon Cowell seems to have high hopes, as he told The Sun, QUOTE, "In terms of the band, they've got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they'll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It's a fun job, but it's absolutely their decision."
But the good news here is that we do know new music is on its way, so let’s just leave on that high note here today.
