Jaclyn Hill opens up about her marriage on what would have been her 9th wedding anniversary.
And you better believe we’ve got those fan reactions.
Earlier this year, fans speculated for MONTHS that Jaclyn and Jon Hill’s adorable marriage was crumbling. Jaclyn confirmed the sad news on May 16th hitting us with a divorce post on Instagram. The message states that she still has love for Jon and is grateful for the time they had.
Fast forward to 3 months later. August 29th would have been the couple’s 9 year wedding anniversary. Jaclyn took to Twitter to reflect on the bittersweet day, and her cryptic message mirrors the sentiment from her divorce announcement. She opened up writing, “9 years ago today, I put on a beautiful dress and walked down the aisle to marry a boy that I loved so dearly! Current day: I am divorced & thankful for every single high & low our marriage had. Thank you to my past for teaching me everything that I know & making me who I am.”
Now, if we ever get married AND divorced we hope this is how OUR ex writes about us. We get the feeling that this is part of Jaclyn’s grieving process. The post is uber vague but also sweet and sad. Of course, her fans had something to say about this emotional post. Some fans were a bit salty. One fan wrote, “tell jon. NOT US.” and another user wrote, “Yup I’m gonna say it, weird post.”
But for the most part, fans were supportive of Jaclyn’s journey. One fan wrote, “This is how people should respond to relationships that don’t work out. Happy that you’re happy!!” And we love this fan’s response, “When you can come out of a divorce with this much positivity- you know that your healing process has begun and you’re on the road to finding out exactly who you are… you can grow through what you go through.” Shoot! Now I’M inspired.
