In the faceoff between Parit Buntar MP Mujahid Yusof Rawa and Defence Minister Hishamuddin Hussein over Malaysia's involvement in Saudi Arabia's seige on Yemen, Hishamuddin stresses on his point that Malaysian forces in Saudi are not involved in the conflict and do not enter Yemen.
The faceoff was sparked when Mujahid cited a United Nations document claiming that Malaysia is privy to the matters pertaining to the conflict and is therefore, involved. Hishamuddin responded to the parliamentary question by saying that the Malaysian troops in Saudi are there for humanitarian purposes and for evacuation efforts and are thus, not involved in the conflict.
Mujahid, unsatisfied with the answer, held a press conference earlier slamming Hishamuddin for not answering his question.
