Sembrong MP Hishammuddin Hussein has dismissed the claim that he blocking PKR president Anwar Ibrahim from becoming the next prime minister.
He said Anwar's remarks about him in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday did not make sense as he held no position in Umno and they were in the opposition.
Yesterday Anwar had in the Dewan Rakyat made veiled references about an effort to destabilise Pakatan Harapan when debating the Budget 2020 speech.
Anwar then inferred that former Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein was working on a plan and advised MPs not to fear threats of prosecution against them. However, he did not elaborate.
