Zahid: Malaysia won't block Telegram messaging app

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Malaysia won't follow Indonesia in blocking access to the Telegram messaging service.
He said the Home Ministry had no reason to ban it as investigations into the use of the app did not find elements of terrorism recruitment or funding.
Zahid added that they would continue to monitor the communications on the application.
