Perak Deputy Chief of Police Azizi Mat Aris has denied that the senior police officer who was charged with the murder of 17-year-old motorcyclist was accorded special treatment during his appearance this morning at the Ipoh magistrates court.
Media reports had previously claimed that the situation was markedly different from other murder cases.
In normal circumstances, the media were allowed to easily record and photograph the arrival of the suspects at the complex.
