Kapar MP Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid has urged the Health Ministry to halt the implementation of the smoking ban at open-air eateries on Jan 1 next year until proper regulation is put in place for the vape industry.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, the lawmaker said the ministry should come up with a win-win solution and enact proper regulation for some 5,000 vape operators who could potentially contribute to the economy.
