Netflix is about to make our hearts melt AGAIN with their latest rom-com, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, which drops TOMORROW. YAY! The movie stars Stranger Things alum, Shannon Purser, and our boy, Noah Centineo. Shannon, who formerly portrayed Barb on Stranger Things plays Sierra Burgess who falls for the high school football star, Jamey, played by Noah of course. In the movie, Sierra catfishes Jamey, afraid that her nerdy looks won’t be enough to win him over, enlisting the help of her frenemy, Veronica. Together they make up the looks and brains of Jamey’s perfect girl and they even figure out a way for Sierra to sneak a kiss with Jamey. Now Shannon Purser is revealing that the kiss was her first on-screen smooch ever!
Opening up to Teen Vogue, Shannon reveals QUOTE "Noah was also my first on-screen kiss, which I was very terrified about at the time. And he was so sweet about it.”
Let’s take a minute to let that sink in. Okay, Shannon continued saying QUOTE”What you see is what you get with him. I feel like, especially in Hollywood, you meet people with ulterior motives, who are trying to get something from you. Noah was just like genuinely kind and lovable from day one."
Shannon also weighed in on Noah’s growing fame. And by “growing,” I’m talking millions and millions and millions followers in like 15 days. She told Teen Vogue QUOTE “It is so wild to see the entire world fall in love with him in the span of two weeks. But he’s wonderful. He truly is. He’s such a poet."
