Hunter Hayes is a country music singer-songwriter. The Louisiana native began playing for audiences at the age of five, and became a local celebrity in his home state. During his childhood, he appeared on the Nickelodeon show “Figure It Out” in addition to the show “America’s Most Talented Kid.” He has since then become one of the hottest stars in country music. Hayes landed a deal with Atlantic Records, and in 2011 he released his self-titled debut album that sold over 1 million copies. It was his first major-label project. His single “Wanted” made him the YOUNGEST male act to ever top the Billboard
Hot Country Songs. In addition to his talents as a singer-songwriter, he is a multi-instrumentalist and can play over 30 instruments. Following his U.S. “Closer To You” tour, he released his first single in three years, “Heartbreak.” The song was the top 3 most added at country radio the week of its release.
