Inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said that police investigation into the death of Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim is still ongoing under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
He added that police are now awaiting further instructions from the Attorney-General's Chambers after having submitted their investigation paper on Monday.
