AN OBESE and diabetic cat believed to be the heaviest moggy in the world is struggling to lose weight. Elvis takes after his famous namesake and at his heaviest weighed a hefty 38.5lbs (17.5kg) – the size of a healthy three-year-old boy. The seven-year-old European short hair in Dortmund, Germany, is now on a strict diet in a desperate bid to lose the weight. The miserable moggy is so obese it can only crawl a few steps before needing to take a rest. And if he doesn’t shift the weight soon the feline could be heading to the pet cemetery.
