Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri said that previously when the government had allowed for interstate travel, it had contributed to an increase in cases, which included 31 clusters.

He said this was why the government prohibits people from travelling across state borders and added that interstate travel and social activities will still not be allowed during MCO 2.0.
