The Israeli assassin apprehended last month with firearms and ammunition faced charges at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today.

Shalom Avitan, 37, entered a plea of not guilty to possessing six pistols and 158 live bullets between 6:46 p.m. on March 26 and 6:00 p.m. on March 28, 2024, in a hotel room on Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

He said he understood the charges; and pleaded not guilty after the court interpreter read the charges before Judge Tasnim Abu Bakar.
