A system error led to Bersatu lawmaker Wan Saiful Wan Jan being granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) for 30 minutes by the courts today.

The incident occurred at the start of the court hearing when a computer system malfunction prevented the 18 money laundering charges against Wan Saiful from being read.

Speaking to reporters after he was charged, the Tasek Gelugor MP questioned how this incident could have happened.

Wan Saiful had pleaded not guilty to the 18 charges against him.
