DAP's Bandar Utama candidate Jamailah Jamaluddin wants voters to look at her record, instead of focusing on her late grandmother, Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Shamsiah Fakeh.
"I feel what the people need to know is who Jamaliah Jamaluddin is, my background and the community issues that I have resolved.
"Focus on what I can do for Selangorians and Malaysians.
"I am puzzled that people are focusing on my family background. I hope people will focus on the important things," she told journalists in Petaling Jaya today.
