James Charles Makes Official COMEBACK To YouTube One Month After Tati Cancellation!

Sisters gather round because James Charles is back and better than he was a month ago!!

What’s up guys? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and James Charles is officially back on YouTube after his very public dispute with his former mentor & bestie, Tati Westbrook.

We all lived through that roller coaster drama ride, and over the past month since then, James has taken some much needed time off.
I mean honestly, even I needed some time off after all of that. Has it really been over a month since that drama started. Time really flies man.

But now James uploaded his first makeup-related YouTube video since his near cancellation from the platform.
In the video he updated us on what he’s been doing, gave us a pride-themed makeup tutorial, and showed us that he’s definitely already started to change for the better.

In the video he showed us how to recreate this dripping rainbow eyeshadow look, which he found on Instagram as he was rediscovering his love for playing with makeup and getting inspo from other makeup artists.

He used the tutorial as an opportunity to update us on what’s been going on his life.

He told us that he celebrated his 20th birthday with his friends in Catalina which we saw a bit of on Instagram stories, but now we got a full behind the scenes look at his day.

He even met a bunch of fellow sisters on the island.
He also mentioned that he has been spending more time putting his phone down and being present.

Something we all could probably all do a little more.
James then filled us in on some music he’s been working on. Because who wouldn’t love some new sister songs?

He revealed that we are going to be getting some more collabs with him and the ladies of Cimorelli.
And his original vid he posted with them has over 28 million views, so I have high hopes for these upcoming covers.

James also revealed that this video of him and his two friends singing got them booked to sing the national anthem at the Ace Family basketball game later this month.
And I’m sure we’ll be getting another video of that soon too.

But the part of this video I found the most interesting is that it seems like James is trying to use his platform for good more than he ever has before.

Two of the main focuses of this video were Pride month and the Trevor Project.

The makeup palette he was using to create the look is a Morphe fundraiser for the Trevor project, but that’s not all.

He is relaunching his clothing brand Sisters Apparel and is donating the proceeds from his new pride collection to the Trevor Project.

But because Sisters Apparel isn’t up and running quite yet, he is donating the proceeds from the ads on this first video back to the Trevor Project.
He told People Magazine that quote, “The Trevor Project is unlike any other organization I’ve come across in the LGBTQ+ community. [...] I genuinely wish I knew about the Trevor Project when I was first coming out, but I am so grateful to now have a platform to spread awareness and help out in any way that I can.”

And fans are loving James’s first video back.

One person wrote quote, “I totally forgot how much I missed watching @jamescharles”
And another said quote, “Baby we were not going to let you go anywhere... you never left!”
And I, for one, am just happy to see that he is doing better mentally and physically than he was a few weeks ago. Because no matter who’s side you were on, bashing someone online is never ok.
