Jennifer Lopez & Lin Manuel Miranda Team Up for Heartfelt Single Benefiting Orlando

There’s nothing better than looking good while DOING good, just take a cue from JLo’s playbook.
Over the 4th of July weekend Jennifer surprised us with a video teaser on Instagram, featuring her new song “Love Make The World Go Round” with Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda. The duo teamed up for a charity single that will benefit the Pulse Nightclub Orlando shooting victims and families with proceeds of the song going to Somos Orlando, an organization offering counseling to Latin residents in Orlando following the tragedy. In the teaser video we not only get to hear a snippet of the track but we see a behind-the-scenes look at creating the hopeful message.
As you just heard Lin-Manuel’s rapping is perfectly poised next to Jen’s uplifting chorus lyrics. The dancey track blends rap with pop flavor and we’ll be downloading the song ASAP to support the cause. No word on an official release date for the track just yet. And there’s more BTS where that came from, JLo also posted this adorable makeup free selfie in the recording studio with Lin throwing up a peace sign in the back. Gotta love the #JLin hashtag written there as well.
