The Johor state government will launch a fund-raiser to help 12-year-old Irfan Wafiy Idham Wazir, who is suffering from myokymia, to receive treatment for the disease.
Education, Human Resource, Science and Technology committee chairman Aminolhuda Hassan said that after meeting the student and his parents in SK Taman Bukit Dahlia, adding that a committee would also be formed to manage the funds and to look into the best possible ways to treat Irfan Wafiy, including going overseas for treatment.
