Right when you reach Lebuh Keng Kwee in George Town you will be confronted by a visible long queue for one of Malaysia's most wanted dessert: cendol and probably the longest cendol queue in Penang! Take a look at this video and you will see why.
Yes indeed,  Penang has several varieties of them available right at  this locally and internationally famous cendol hot spot  that has a heritage that goes back to 1936! The stall is now operated by the original founder's sixth son and it has even gone franchise! The simple ice shavings and cendol mix of red beans, peanuts, coconut milk and syrup has a special flavour that will melt any passerby's fancy. This heritage dessert stall sits right underneath the giant George Town landmark wall mural of a cendol fan too!
