Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer Officially Drops

Somehow, some way, the Jurassic Park franchise is taking it up a notch, as proven by the first trailer for next year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The trailer, which dropped last night during Thursday Night Football, shows Chris Pratt’s character, Owen, and Bryce Dallas Howard’s character, Claire, reuniting 4 years after the events of last year’s Jurassic World. What’s brought them back together? Dinosaurs of course. Dinosaurs that need saving… Of course.
Turns out, there’s a whole lot that can go wrong. Like getting trapped INSIDE said explosion which is actually a massive ERUPTING volcano or, I don’t know, getting eaten by dinosaurs?
Not to mention that a rescue mission is even more difficult for Owen and Claire, since not everybody is exactly on board with saving the dinos in the first place.
Oh yeah, Dr. Ian Malcolm is back! Jeff Golblum is reprising his iconic role from the original Jurassic park films, and we are all about his return, even though it’s safe to say that Owen and Claire definitely won’t be as excited to meet him. But it’s not like they’ll have a ton of time to pick any fights with him because whether or not the dinosaurs become extinct, because volcano, literally hangs on their shoulders. And while they run amidst a dinosaur stampede dodging lava that’s literally raining from the sky, Owen finds himself face to face with a one hungry looking dinosaur before getting some help from an unlikely friend.
We’re definitely in for the ride of a lifetime when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theatres next June. Until then, share your thoughts on the first trailer for the movie down below.
